Rooftop Prince Episode 2

Park Ha was shocked to see four men dressed in odd clothing sitting in her living room. She drops her glass which awakes the four people. She grabs a frying pan to protect herself from them. She steps back little by little and eventually leads them outside the house. The four realizes that their surroundings is completely foreign to them. They ignore Park Ha and looks more carefully at the tall buildings and bright lights. Park Ha assumes they were crazy. Lee Gak asks Park Ha what place it was but she answers rudely. Yong Sul shouts at her and draws his sword again because Park Ha was being impertinent to the Prince but Park Ha wasn't scared anymore. Lee Gak assumes they were cursed by Park Ha and commands her to take them to the palace.

They were freaked out again by the surroundings plus the fact that it was their first time riding in a truck. The group finally arrived at Changdeok Palace. They tried to get in but a police spots them, making them leave. They were left in the middle of the street, still confused about everything. Lead by Yong Sul, they bravely crossed the street, causing disturbance to passing cars. The police sees them again and tells them to go home.

Lee Gak was left in front of a convenience store while it was raining very hard. He sees two girls eating ramen heartily and suddenly feels very hungry. The girls saw how he desired their food and was creeped out by it so they turned away. He decides to enter the shop and commands the store clerk to give him food. The clerk was amazed at the audacity of the man so she decides to call the police and drive him out of the store. Apparently, his three companions were already caught while trying to find food.

Park Ha goes shopping at the supermarket. She buys goods and delivers them to her customers.

On the other hand, the four men are in jail. The police who always caught them earlier was surprised to see them again. He asked for their contact information but they can't understand so he explained it to them. Man Bo then remembers seeing the plate number of Park Ha's truck.

Park Ha goes to Se Na's unit to bring some groceries. She rings the doorbell but nobody answers. She decides to leave them outside but the door opens just as she was about to go. She takes the groceries in but was surprised to see Tae Moo just out of the bath. Se Na arrives, Park Ha apologizes and leaves. Tae Moo asks about Park Ha, but Se Na says she's just somebody returning a favor.

On his way to work, Tae Moo realizes that Park Ha was the girl he and Tae Yong met in New York.

Man Bo sketches Park Ha's plate number and gives it to the police. They were brought back to Park Ha's house, where Chi San almost faints because they haven't eaten anything for two days.

Park Ha feeds them with omurice. The landlady calls for Park Ha so she leaves them with a bottle of water and goes out of the house.

The landlady introduces Park Ha to the new tenant. The four men tries to open the bottle of water but fails to do so. Man Bo sits on the remote, turning the TV on, showing a period drama with a hostage scene. Yong Sul slashed the screen with his sword but it had no effect. They threw a vase on the TV. Suddenly, a voice from the rice cooker makes them think someone is there with them. Yong Sul throws the rice cooker to the ground. A heating lamp rolls onto the curtains and starts a fire.

Meanwhile, Park Ha was getting along with the new tenant. The landlady says to be careful especially about starting fire because she will file a civil criminal case. Park Ha says such a thing is impossible because they aren't kids anymore.

Man Bo goes to the bathroom and sips water from the toilet bowl. He spits it onto the fire and makes Yong Sul do the same thing. He goes back to the bathroom to get more water from the bowl but slips and lands on a teddy bear. The bear starts talking. Man Bo grabs it and throws it in the air. Yong Sul slices it open with his sword. Park Ha enters and screams at the sight of her house. She gets the fire extinguisher immediately and puts out the fire.

The four quietly leaves but Park Ha stops them. She starts ranting and mocking them especially the prince for saying that they were of noble origins but are planning to run away from debt. Lee Gak feels insulted so he asks Park Ha what he needs to do.

Park Ha takes all of their clothes and leaves it to a laundry shop. She calls the police for reports about escaped mental patients but there was none.

She comes back to the house and gives jumpsuits to the four. Red for Lee Gak, green for Man Bo, blue for Yong Sul, and yellow for Chi San.

She takes them along to the supermarket and makes them load vegetables onto her truck while computing the damages they incurred. She says they have to work for eight days straight to pay it all off. Lee Gak demands for his robe but Park Ha pretends not to hear anything.

Tae Moo and Se Na are having lunch. He asks about Park Ha and says she looks familiar, like he saw her in America or something. Se Na denies it, saying Park Ha grew up in the countryside and just recently came to Seoul. Tae Moo was relieved to hear this.

Tae Yong's grandma is in the hospital. Se Na is by her side. She tells Se Na not to inform her sister that she's hospitalized.

Park Ha eats instant noodles with the guys at the back of her truck. They try to copy her every move. Her phone rings, surprising them. The call was from Se Na, asking Park Ha to meet up.

They talk over coffee. Se Na tells Park Ha to keep some distance. She says she doesn't consider Park Ha as family but it's also troublesome if they leave her. She advises Park Ha to think about what she said and that they should try not to do things that will disappoint each other.

Lee Gak is taking a walk when he sees Se Na. He immediately recognizes her as the Bingoong and tries to catch up to her. He bumps onto a glass door and faints. His three companions comes to his rescue.

Park Ha was about to leave when she sees the three running from outside the coffee shop.

Lee Gak wakes up and immediately goes outside to look for the princess. He convinces the three that he really saw the princess. Park Ha pinches Lee Gak's nose, the three not able to do anything.

They go back to the hospital to have Lee Gak's nose checked up. He waits for his name to be called for x-ray. At the same time, Tae Yong's grandma was being pushed on a wheelchair. She sees Lee Gak and assumes it was Tae Yong. She tells the nurse to go back but Lee Gak wasn't there anymore, making her cry.

She tells her family that she saw Tae Yong at the hospital but it her grandson didn't recognize him. Tae Moo suggests that he lives with the Chairman (Tae Yong's grandma) and he'll take care of her. The Chairman eventually agrees.

Lee Gak holds a meeting with his three companions. They decided to continue looking into the Bingoong's murder and stay at the rooftop since it seems to be their only link to Joseon.

Lee Gak and Park Ha couldn't sleep, both of them thinking about Se Na. Park Ha goes out of the house only to see Lee Gak there as well. Park Ha says she couldn't sleep because of the loud snores while Lee Gak says he is sad. Park Ha gets her stash of alcohol and whipped cream. She offers Lee Gak a drink and squeezes some whipped cream into his mouth. Park Ha does the same and when it was Lee Gak's turn again, he squeezes too much whipped cream so Park Ha laughs at him. Park Ha eventually messes up too and they ended up laughing  heartily. After drinking it all up, Lee Gak notices that Park Ha's face was really red. He puts his hand on her face to warm himself up. Park Ha seriously asks Lee Gak if he really is from Joseon and he nods. Park Ha somewhat believed him.

Park Ha teaches everyone how to brush their teeth, flush the toilet, use a microwave, and everything else they need to know. They ride a bus but the four leaves their shoes outside.

Park Ha receives a call from her stepmom to ask help in moving some things for Se Na. Park Ha was hesitant at first but then eventually agrees.

She takes the four men with her. Since Lee Gak doesn't help, she asks the three to help her in getting boxes and tapes. Lee Gak enters the house first. He goes into the room that was supposed to be cleared out and was surprised to see a portrait of Tae Yong. The Chairman enters and sees him too. Mistaking him for Tae Yong, she hugs him tightly.

Park Ha couldn't find Lee Gak so she just settled with letting the three take down the boxes. Se Na arrives with Tae Moo. He goes inside the house first. Se Na asks Park Ha what she's doing there.

The Chairman drags Lee Gak out and tells Tae Moo that Tae Yong was back. Tae Moo sees Lee Gak and was terribly shocked.
